ROSSOCUBO si presenta attraverso azioni condivise, basate sullo scambio di tempo e consapevolezza. L’installazione, sempre accessibile, è uno spazio dedicato allo scambio di pensieri e di tempo. Al suo interno è disponibile un kit* per far crescere un mini‑prato, a condizione di rispondere prima a tre domande. Ci si dedica così al piacere della coltivazione, al tempo lento, alla propria esistenza, unica e fragile come uno stelo d’erba. ECOBOX, nel centro urbano, sottolinea come il rapporto con la comunità sia essenziale per mantenere un equilibrio e sostenere la crescita di questa forma erbacea. La nostra capacità di ricercare e generare armonia dipende dalla condivisione di valori come il tempo, la pluralità e la consapevolezza, più che da logiche monetarie. L’intervento è realizzato in occasione della 6ª Giornata del Contemporaneo, in collaborazione con l’associazione Art.ur e con il patrocinio del Comune di Cuneo.

ECOBOX, ROSSOCUBO project – 6–9 October 2010 – happening with temporary urban installation – painted aluminum, fabric, post‑it notes, seed envelopes, DIBOND® cubes, neon light, panels – dimensions 220×220×220 cm – Largo Audiffredi, Cuneo.
ROSSOCUBO presents itself through shared actions grounded in the exchange of time and awareness. The installation, accessible at all hours, is a space dedicated to the exchange of thoughts and time. Inside, a kit* is freely available to grow a small patch of grass, provided that visitors first respond to three questions. One then devotes oneself to the pleasure of cultivation, to slow time, to one’s own existence—unique and fragile like a single blade of grass. ECOBOX, placed in the urban center, highlights how the relationship with the community is essential to maintain balance and support the growth of this delicate herbaceous form. Our ability to seek and generate harmony depends on sharing values such as time, plurality, and awareness, rather than monetary logic. The intervention is presented on the occasion of the 6th Day of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with the Art.ur association and with the patronage of the City of Cuneo.

Variante dimensionale: il cubo rosso, ingrandito, può accogliere le persone al suo interno. La struttura è realizzata in alluminio verniciato con dimensioni 2,2 metri per lato e rivestita di robusta stoffa rossa, preparata su misura.
Dimensional variant: the red cube, enlarged, can accommodate people inside it. The structure is made of painted aluminum, measuring 2.2 meters per side, and is covered with a robust red fabric, custom‑made.
